No tickets will be available at the venue.* Location: Montpelier City Hall Arts Center 39 Main Street Montpelier, VT Tickets: No admission charge; tickets recommended due to limited seating; maximum of six tickets per “purchaser.” Vermont created and produced, The Suffragist Reenactment Society is a funny, fast-paced journey through the history of how women fought for and won the right to vote in America. The characters, played by Kathryn Blume, Sarah Mell and Julia Sioss, embody the determination of suffragists from Susan B. Anthony to Ida B. Wells while addressing the complex interplay of race and gender in the suffrage movement and how this continues to impact us today. The show is interactive and suitable for all ages.
