Students will cut and paste collages inspired by traditional patterns and designs from many other cultures with an individual, personal contemporary element to their finished pieces. Projects on Tuesday and Wednesday will be different, so students may register for one or both of these classes.

Dana Karuza has worked as a teaching and resident artist for a variety of non-profits and independent schools in the area. Through VSA (Very Special Arts) VT and St. Michael’s College she completed the Arts to Smarts integrated arts training. Dana has worked with all ages in fiber arts, mosaics, puppetry and paper arts. She was previously an integrated arts teacher at the L.E.A.R.N. school in Lyndonville and Program Coordinator and Teaching Artist at Catamount Arts. Currently, she is the Outreach Coordinator at the Old Stone House Museum. Dana enjoys teaching the creative process through lively discussions, critiques and open-ended projects.
